Brunch anyone? Try it with a charcuterie board, but with a twist! Like a charcuterie crêpe board with some close friends! My boyfriend Jackson is from France and he makes crêpes for us at home all the time and we both love entertaining! We invited our friends over for some celebrating and we figured this was a perfect way to do it! Now, I want to share our homemade crepes with you, so you can put a fun twist on your next get together!
I have been wanting to make a “crêpecuterie” board for sometime now so this gave us the perfect opportunity to do it! We made it into a brunch style affair on a Sunday when everyone seemed to have some time off from work. They are all musicians so their schedules tend to be a little weird.
Charcuterie board with a Twist: “Crêpecuterie” Board
There are so many options to put on your crêpes so I gave everyone the opportunity to be as bold as they wanted. You use Nutella and mix it with fruit or use the lemon and sprinkle sugar on it, for of a more traditional flavor. You are probably asking “how do you make crepes?”. Well it’s actually pretty easy, I will put a recipe below for reference!
You can’t have a brunch without some MIMOSAS! Am I right? First off, living in Tennessee has always made getting alcohol an adventure. I just never have good luck. I was at a Kroger, getting all the fresh fruits and figured they had champagne too! Guess what…they didn’t!!! They had airplane size bottles, what the heck would I do with that? So, luckily there was a liquor store down the road and even then, it was hard to find the champagne there too! The lady had to help me because it was not really in sight. But I got some bottles!! We mixed it with watermelon, peach and orange juice!
We had an amazing time with our friends and are so thankful for our friendships! I hope the next time you have a get together you celebrate with a crêpecuterie board! I hope to help bring some smiles and full bellies to the table 😉
I would love to see any of your “crêpecuterie” boards!!
