    Nightmare On Laurel Ave

Around 5:30am on January 8, 2020, I and about 95 other people had to live through a real life nightmare. Experiencing any kind of structure fire is something no one ever wants to face nor deal with. The aftermath is probably the hardest, because of the realization of what you had just experienced. You are supposed to receive help from the local Red Cross and that is not what we received. 5:33am I woke up to the terrible sound of an alarm that wasn’t your normal fire alarm in your house, it was so loud and obnoxious. How I Moved Across The Country!

Have you ever felt that you just belong somewhere without even have done it, seen it or lived it? I have had those feelings for most of my life growing up. Something about Tennessee and the south always touched me, like I belonged there. My parents have never taken me to Tennessee or the south but there was something about the area that I was drawn too. DONATE TO THESE LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS Kentucky Tornado Relief Team Western Kentucky Relief Fund Kentucky Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster CARE Global Empowerment Mission Global Giving Mayfield Graves County Tornado Relief Salvation Army of Western Kentucky United Way of West Tennessee United Way of Kentucky…

This was not a huge commute for my family because my father owned an auto body business in Lake Havasu. This area is a destination for tourism around the country. We are known for the floating dock bars, off road community and the original London Bridge. You know, the one that was falling down? Growing up My mother was a single mom for the first 8 years of my life.…

College at 30 in the Middle of a Pandemic!

When I graduated college the first time I was so happy that it was over! Never did I want to go back to school again! Well, guess what? I am back in college at age 30 in the middle of a pandemic! 2020 It’s the year 2O2O and if you learned anything about it, it’s that NOTHING turns out the way you thought it would. I moved to a new city and started a new job, unfortunately it only lasted for four months. Now…it’s not my fault, it’s the economy in which we all faced with the country shutting down longer than we had expected. I understand from a business…
